Making Impact The New Cool
We are a podcast
giving visibility to the
intersection between business and impact.
Reinventing... What?

Capitalism has created a world of prosperity and abundance, driving remarkable progress in nearly every aspect of modern life.
Over the last 200 years, human longevity has nearly doubled, and today we find ourselves on an era defined by exponential technological growth, which will unlock even greater possibilities.

However, we live in a world where our obsession for growth, and our greediness for more, is hurting the things that we value the most: society and the environment.

Inequality doesn’t cease to exacerbate, education doesn’t reach the poor, and health systems are not available to everyone.

Lack of Purpose
We have lost at being humans.

We have made the mistake of believing that the only success metric that exists is financial.

That leaves us with a demotivated society; with individuals working for soul-crashing companies, with mental health issues, and a lack of purpose.
We aim to inspire
talented individuals
to find jobs
with purpose.
Social Entrepreneurship | ˌsəʊ.ʃəl ɒn.trə.prəˈnɜːr | (noun) - A practice that combines entrepreneurial business principles with a mission to address social and environmental problems, creating both profit and positive social impact.
Capitalism As A Force For Good
We believe in a conscious capitalism, where we use market based mechanisms as an integral piece to solve problems in our society.
Traditional wisdom considers that businesses create social problems.
The new wisdom is that businesses profit from solving social problems, by addressing a social or environmental issue with a business model.

About us
The podcast for game-changers
Reinventing Capitalism is a podcast where I, Claudia Tomas, decode the success of for-profit, impact businesses through the stories of their founders.
After an 8 year career in tech, I realised I was tired of working for companies that only cared about revenue growth. When I learnt about the concept of Social Entrepreneurship, I was sure this was the avenue I wanted to pursue.
Businesses can be used as a force for good, to actually add value to out society, instead of destroying it. With that being the case, I didn't see a reason as to why not to pursue it.
Therefore, our goal is to inspire the audience towards a purpose-driven career, showing that you can have a job in impact, without giving up your financial stability. Because life’s too short for boring jobs and soul-crushing corporations.
What our listeners are saying:
Podcast
At Reinventing Capitalism, we interview founders of for-profit, impact companies.
We aim to give visibility to the concept of Social Entrepreneurship, and break with the missconception that impact companies lack the capital or talent that comercial-only companies benefit from.
In our episodes, you will find unfiltered, natural, business conversations about the ideation and growth of companies with purpose.
We believe in a world where there won’t be social entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs. We envision a future where every business will have to take into consideration the social & environmental aspect of things.
